It is designed as an example of what's required with your Can I Granny Flat application.
 

You’ll see the Before & After images below, and if you utilize our service, you’ll need to upload images too, so we’ve added a few easy tips to guide you.

 

​When you Book Online, the certifier requires a simple image showing where you plan to build your granny flat.​ A screenshot from Google Earth or Google Maps is totally fine.

For this one, I:

• Zoomed in on the property

• Used the Snipping Tool

• Pasted it straight into Word
   

I then drew a rough outline of the granny flat utilizing the Microsoft Draw tools and added a few notes about distances to the house and boundaries.

If you already have an idea of the building, you can also:

• Add your proposed granny flat builder’s name

• Paste an image from the builder’s website, ideally with any building specs

The more information you provide, the quicker and clearer the response will be. Once done, just save it as a Word or PDF file and select the Upload File icon.
